Tonight when we got home Uncle Nick and I were jamming out on the karaoke machine. You decided that you needed a turn.
"Hello??? Is this thing on?”

My Goat-Feeding, Orange-Eating Hair Dresser
This is a regular occurrence on Saturday and Sunday mornings…you and Papa out feeding Gigi. She is scared of you, but you are not scared of her and walk right up to her and pet her.
You found this comb and decided that you were going to be a hairdresser today. First it was Papa, but you had to go at it from the side since he has none on top.
Then there was Mimi’s hair… “just tease it and make it look like a brown football helmet.”
Uncle Nick’s hair is really too short to do anything with.
And your comb got stuck in my long curly locks.
You are such a sweetheart sometimes. Look at that sweet and angelic (and also dirty) little face.
We had some oranges and you went to town on them! You ate about 3 of 4 slices and still wanted more.
Are you smelling that orange or trying to hide behind it?
I had to post this picture just in case anyone reading your blog thinks that things are always peachy and easy w/ you. Lately you’ve had quite the little temper and I don’t know why. If you don’t get what you want you scream, kick, scratch, bite yourself, etc. I’ve tried ignoring it, giving you a little swat on the butt, putting you in time, 0ut, etc. I hope you grow out of it soon and also hope that things will get better when you can actually talk and tell me what you want. But either way, I love you to pieces!

Buddah baby tummies and Basketball
When we get home from daycare, I always have a bottle for you to drink. I give you one in the morning on the way to day care and whatever you don't eat, I put in the fridge at work and then when I come get you I give it to you. You drink it up right away and then usually want a refill when we get home. Your little tummy gets SO big b/c of all the liquid.
You've got a little Buddah baby tummy and it's just too cute.
I've also come to realize that you're probably going to be a basketball player. I have the height to be one (I'm 6' 1") but I have no coordination. Dad has a lot of coordination and is great at sports. So hopefully you'll be tall and coordinated. And not to mention the fact that you can pick up this ball with one hand.
You just palm the ball and have no problem at all. Big hands, great height, coordination...all the makings of a great basketball player.

RAH! RAH! RAH!
This outfit today made you look like a little cheerleader. I thought it was fitting that you were standing by this old fashioned desk we had in the living room so it seems like you're a school cheerleader.
"Come on, people! I KNOW you have more spirit than that. Let me hear it!"
"Like, oh my gosh. Can you like get that camera out of my face?"

Quilt Queen
Grammy Lisa finished this quilt and you LOVED IT, which is funny since it's a love quilt. I love how you have your eyes closed and are just enjoying the feel of the fabric. That's the sign of a true quilting queen. And can I just say that your eyelashes are INCREDIBLE!?! I am so jealous that you have such long eyelashes. Maybe you can be a model for mascara.
You just kept running your little hands over the fabric and were enthralled with the patterns. It was so fun to watch you.
"Grammy, I know that you really want to give me this quilt, right?
(bat eyelashes)
I'm just so cute and would love and appreciate it."

Lexie & Andrew visit
Aunt Lexie & Cousin Andrew came up to visit for a week. It was fun having them here, even if we only got to see them at night after we got home. Yes, Andrew is wearing your new slippers, and he looks good in them. We keep telling him he's going to be a shoe designer and make millions. I just hope he shares some of that money with you since and me since we let him wear your shoes all the time!
It was so funny to see you and Emma both "begging" for food from Aunt Lexie.
I used to flip Aunt Lexie and Uncle Nick & Nate when they were little. So she thought it would be fun to flip you and Andrew.
I think Andrew wanted a turn...what do you think?
Maybe this is the start of your career as a flying trapeze artist.

Hello, Operator???
It's never too early to decide what you want to be when you grow up. Most little girls want to be a princess or a ballerina.
From the looks of this, you want to be a phone operator. But I guess you came by it honestly, since that's what Grammy Lisa used to be when I was little.
Or maybe this is just a foreshadowing of what you'll be like as a teenager...on the phone all the time! If that's the case, I'm in trouble already!
