This morning you were watching cartoons and I offered you a banana, cereal, toast, and a few other things for breakfast. You didn’t want any of them. You eventually took my hand and led me over to the pantry and showed me that you wanted some chips. I gave in and let you have a little bowl of chips for breakfast.
“Thank you, Mom, for giving me chips for breakfast. You are the bestest mama ever.”
While we were at Costco yesterday, Mimi & Papa bought this for you for Christmas. However, we didn’t put it away last night and you discovered it on the table this morning. You literally sat and played with it for at least 35 minutes, which is a long time for your short little attention span. But you LOVED it!
After that, it was time to take a bubble bath so we could get ready for church. After looking through your first blog book that I had printed, I realized I used to take a lot of pics of you in your hoodie towels and that I hadn’t taken any in a long time. This is the best one I could get…you were in a silly mood.
I got you dressed in this little red dress and with your white ruffle socks and black shoes you kind of look like Annie. I found your little white purse w/ the pearl handle and you would have thought I handed you a purse full of money the way you carried it around and would not let me take it. You even kept it on your arm the whole time at church and even in nursery.
Are you reaching for the cell phone already? You’re not even 2 years old yet! Uh, oh. I’m in big trouble!
When we got home, you went right to sleep and even fell asleep in the car on the way home. When you woke up from your nap you were still carrying your purse around. I had gotten out a tape measure to measure something and you LOVED it when I would extend it out and then snap it back in fast. You started carrying that around with you in addition to your purse.
You’re going to be an ideal girl…you’re girly, but you also like boy stuff like basketball, football, and now tape measures!
