Splash Day & Straws

Today at day care it was "Splash Day." So, I sent you to school in your swimsuit and favorite swimsuit cover up.

I even got you to wear this towel/backpack. It's such a nice thing, b/c it's towel that folds into a backpack, and I can just put your clothes for after splash time at school in there. So cute...it makes me wonder how cute you'll look when you go to your first day of Kindergarten w/ a backpack. I'll probably cry and embarrass you, so I'm just warning you now.

When we got home, you wanted to swim. I love this cute little pink swimsuit.

"Papa, take me for a piggy back ride around the pool."

"What? I have to go in now? Ah, come on Mom! Can't I just stay out for a few more minutes?"

Uncle Curt came over w/ Jessie. They were showing us how to make farting noises with straws and putting it in the part where your elbow or knee bends. He would do it to you and you would just laugh like crazy.

You were a little scavenger tonight and went around to everyone to have them feed you fried rice off their plate. I don't know if you thought one person's would be better than another's, b/c they were all the same. But, you still went around to everyone begging for food.

You topped off the night reading a book with Uncle Nick.
