Sick Sick Baby

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. But I just have NOT had time b/c you have been so sick, sick, sick. You were coughing on Tuesday the 11th and by Wednesday morning, you were full blown sick. I'm trying to look sick with you in this picture.

Look at those flushed cheeks and dull eyes. You were so lethargic for a whole week. It got so bad that on Friday, Grammy took you to the clinic and Grandpa gave you a steroid shot. I owe Grammy BIG TIME for doing nothing for a week but sitting and taking care of you. On Saturday and Sunday that's all I did, too. But one nice thing was that you were so snuggly and cuddly. It broke my heart to see you so quiet and sluggish. Then, when you would cough, you would just cry afterwards b/c it hurt so bad. Thank goodness for modern medicine, b/c we kept you on mortrin and tylenol to help moderate the pain.

You were so sick, we even had to give you AND your baby doll breathing treatments. Just kidding. You became attached to this little Mickey Mouse toy and everytime I would sing the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song from Playhouse Disney you would get a little half smile on your face. Grandpa said you might have had RSV, which is scary.

***P.S. You finally snapped out of the sicknes on Tuesday and went back to day care on Wednesday, the 19th. I am SO SO SO glad that you are feeling better and have that sparkle back in your eyes. LOVE YOU, LITTLE BUG!
