The weather has been so nice lately that I've been wanting to get outside. So today after I picked you up at daycare, we met up with Lexie, Andrew, and Nick at the park. We stopped and got some chicken tenders at WalMart and they brought chips and drinks (not the healthiest meal ever, sorry). I gave you your very own tender and you eventually ate the whole thing. When I handed it to you, you got the BIGGEST smile on your face and you would have thought I had handed you the world. I hope that you'll always be so happy and content with the little things in life.
Here's the rest of our motley crew.
Andrew didn't stick around on the picnic blanket for long. He got his food and rushed off. He went over to this older girl and just stood there and looked at her. We were joking that he was hitting on her and pretending like we knew what he was saying to her, "So, do you come to this park often? How about getting outta here and going for a Capri Sun?"
At this park for some reason they don't have swings for adults. They just have kid swings. So I dared Nick to get in this swing to see if he would fit. And he was skinny enough that he did! I had to run back to the blanket to get my camera b/c I didn't have it with me as we walked around. He just sat there and swung until I got back. Too funny!
This is how I could tell that it was time to go and that you had had enough. Or maybe you're just afraid of horses like me! But we did have a good time at the park even though it was a little too windy.
