Happy 28th Birthday, Mom

Today was my 28th birthday, however you are the one that stole the show. You were fussy on the way home from day care, so I let you play with my birthday crown. Then you even let me put it on you at dinner and you kept it on for a little while. Here you are practicing your princess parade wave.

I love this little pose. It's as if you've just won the title of Miss America and you can't believe it. You're saying, "Who? Little old me?"

I don't know what's up with you and your tongue always hanging out. Not very princess like! :)

You are just too cute for words. You really are my little princess. We call you the Ponca Princess.

Then Aunt Lexie decided she wanted to be a princess too and took over the crown after you threw it on the floor.

Andrew didn't like all the girly princess stuff that was going on so he decided to throw in a little touchdown sign. He does this all the time to Lexie and Jon when they're watching football. It was super cute.

But I think we were able to override the testosterone in him and got him to wear your pink pajamas (his were in the dirty laundry and he didn't have any pajamas to wear to bed other than these) and we also got him to wear the crown (but only for about 10 seconds).

Here you both are in your matching pajamas. You had just taken a bath and smelled super good. What cute cousins. It was fun to celebrate my first birthday as a mom. You really are the best gift I could ever have or ask for. Picking you up from daycare and spending the evening with you is always the highlight of my day. Thank you for being the best gift on earth!
