Happy B-Day, Daddy & The Park

Today was Daddy's birthday, so to celebrate we went to 7-11 and got a Slurpee for Slurpee Saturday.

Then we went to the park to play and enjoy the Slurpee. That's something we used to do all the time in Utah when we would have Bubzy, Justy, and Jewlsey come over to stay for the weekend.

"Thinking about you, Daddy, and sending Happy Birthday wishes your way!"

"I'm ready to go play!"

First it was a trip down the yellow slide (a few dozen times).

Running down the ramp to get to the slide again.

Trying out the yellow tube. I have a feeling you're going to get closer pretty soon...

...YEP! There you are. I have a feeling you're giong to be getting even closer...

...YEP! There you are all up close and personal, and what a cute little bug you are!

After the yellow slide you wanted to go over the green section of the playground to try the bigger slide. You also went down that a few dozen times (with my help).

You had been trying so hard to pretend like you weren't dying to go over and play in the water. Since we were going to be leaving soon, I decided to let you try it. But, you weren't wanting to get wet...you just wanted to get as close as you could without getting wet.

The sun was starting to go down, and I loved this picture I captured with the water spilling out of one of the buckets.

You stopped for a minute to also enjoy the pretty sunset...

...but that didn't last for long before you were off running away from the water again.

After the water feature, it was time to go play on the rocking duck...

...and rocking horse (I know this is kind of dark and far away, but I was trying to get the moon in the picture also since you love the moon).

Last but not least was this rocking motorcycle. You were giving a dirty look to a girl behind you that got on the rocking horse right after you got off. And that dirty look was then directed towards me when I said it was time to go b/c it was getting dark and cold. You threw a FIT and I had to carry you like a football back to the car while you kicked and screamed the whole way. We'll have to try going to the park again, b/c you loved it so much.
